Sunday School classes are small groups that meet on Sunday mornings. These groups provide opportunities for discipleship to take place within the community. Groups meet together each week to study God’s Word and pray together. Groups also meet together outside of the classroom to build relationships through fellowship activities and by serving together. Many of the classes offer more intentional discipleship by organizing men’s and women’s groups that meet throughout the week.
There are two new classes that are launching on Sunday, March 12th.
Drawing Close Class
Teacher: Stephen and Leigh Jones

Description: Drawing Close is based on Isaiah 26:8, “Yes, Lord, we wait for you in the path of your judgments. Our desire is for your name and renown.” Our pursuit as a group of believers is to know and enjoy God for His glory, invest our God-given gifts in the mission of HC, to be in unity with one another through love for others, share the story of Jesus in our community and with the nations. We will faithfully study God’s Word, be a people of prayer, and a community of believers that do life together inside and outside of the church.
His Strength Class

Description: For wherever you are in your walk, you are welcome to join us. It is our hope and desire to have a community of people that want to seek the Lord, His strengths and His presence continually (1 Chronicles 16:11)! We believe that this is achieved through God’s Word, prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We also believe that God wants us to do this together.
